The Debian Mirror
openROCK.net provides a complete mirror (all sources all architectures) of theDebian/Linux distribution on a fast colocatedserver in San Jose, California. This is a push mirrorwhich is triggered by updates to the Debian master ftp site. The archive canbe accessed via ftp, http,nfs or rsync at openrock.net.openROCK.net also provides a non-us mirror in Japan and thus canprovide complete Debian/Linux file services.

Configuring APT to use openrock.net
To use openrock with the APT tool to be able to keep your Debian/Linuxdistribution up to date put the following lines into/etc/apt/sources.list:
Note that this is an example for the current stable distribution.You might want to use unstable or frozen. Also if you do not dodevelopment then you wont need the deb-src lines.
Running your own mirror off openrock.net
You can run your own mirror off openrock.net using RSYNC. Read themanpage of RSYNC and then use openrock.net:debian as the module to mirror.If you would like to have a push mirror setup (your mirror istriggered when the openrock.net mirror has completed an update of the site)then contact us to arrange such a setup.
